This is inspired by the signs up in town, they just seem so dystopian! This is literally the best thing the developers can think of to say about themselves. Not "we are making your lives better" or even "we are enhancing the town centre" but "creating value for investors".
At the same time we as a band are conscious that we must also try to create value. We are bringing our product to market. But will you buy it?

"The nail that stands up shall be hammered down" is from a Japanese proverb (or possibly warning) about the value of conformity.
